He's not sure of martyrdom is in his future. So, will he try and delay execution by filing a habeas petition? Or will he not challenge the public execution because he believes that it will inspire like-minded religious fanatics to target the USA and Americans? His "dilemma."

Much more horrific when the public execution is state-sponsored. Will Don try to cash in by offering it on Pay-per-view?

@stevevladeck.bsky.social truly "unenforceable by anyone" under any circumstances? No one would have standing to challenge Trump's tearing down the White House and replacing it with a (soon-to-be bankrupt Trump casino)?

I agree with Andrew. Probable cause is a constitutional floor. Congress could raise the standard of proof. Would POTUS veto? Override veto? Standing to contest? chrome-native://pdf/link?url=content%3A%2F%2Fmedia%2Fexternal%2Fdownloads%2F1000026701

Is anyone surprised at Trump's complete lack of empathy for young Americans dying during his war that he hopes will benefit himself politically. They were, and always will be, suckers and losers in his draft-dodging mind.

Yes. Civil contempt because (1) no pardon possible; and (2) indefinite incarceration until purge the contempt by compliance.

Was the term "payments deficit" in 122 used as an economist would understanding the term or did it have broader legal meaning that included a "trade deficit" as the Court of International Trade seems to conclude?
010
alegalnerd.bsky.social @alegalnerd.bsky.social · 21/02/2026
Here's what the Court of International Trade that struck down Trump's IEEPA tariffs had to say about the scope of section 122's "payment deficits" term.

@hennepinatty.bsky.social 1. You can win a Neagle "necessary & proper" defense. 2. Haven't Ochoa & Gutierrez been identified as the killers of Pretti? 3. No case is perfect. Here you have powerful evidence to support Murder 2° against all 3 killers.

Now that it is known that at least one of the allegations in Trump's revenge indictment against @donlemonofficial.bsky.social is, as is usually the case with everything coming out of Trump's mouth, a lie, will the Minnesota district court judge accept the other allegations as true?

CBP thugs have a long history of using excessive and deadly force against migrants without any consequences. So, no surprise that Ochoa & Gutierrez were so quick to execute Alex Pretti on his knees by shots in his back. www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org/wp-content/u...

Point 14: @hennepinatty.bsky.social doesn't need to know the names of the two agents who killed Pretti or their locations in order to file a criminal complaint against them because they can both be identified with "reasonable certainty" from the videos. scholar.google.com/scholar_case...

Victim Pretti's prior acts of violence would be inadmissible at a homicide trial (in state or federal court) of the two agents who killed him if they were unaware of the prior incident at the time they killed Pretti.

Stasi or Nazi. In the sick, twisted, minds (or what's left of their brains) of Trump, Miller, Noem, Bovino and their loyal masked thugs, this is a war of us vs. them. And, in war, in their playbook, anything goes ... anything.

I don't believe any "training" would make a difference. These dudes are thugs, pure and simple. They enjoy inflicting pain on "others" who they view as the "enemy" worthy of death. In their twisted minds they are at war with anyone who dares to get in their way. And, in war, everything goes.

"Officer-Created Danger" If there's a State of Minnesota v. Jonathan Ross for Murder in the Second Degree of Renee Good.

1. Ross deliberately, unreasonably, and recklessly created the danger to himself that led to his killing Renee Good. Having done so, the killing was objectively unreasonable and cannot be justified as self-defense.

Let a Minnesota federal court jury decide if Ross's killing of Ms. Good was, under the "totality of the circumstances" "objectively reasonable."

Jurisdiction to investigate the killing of Ms. Good by the ICE officer?
000
alegalnerd.bsky.social @alegalnerd.bsky.social · 08/01/2026
@coreyryung.bsky.social In Minnesota, the prosecution only has to disprove one of the four elements of self-defense. Retreat? The shooter placed himself in danger (and violated DHS/ICE policy) by positioning himself in front of the vehicle. State can also likely disprove reasonableness.
