I've got money on 12.5% of the population actually being trans, but I doubt that more than about 6.5% would transition with the current methods. We're at ~2.5% right now despite the hate.

The actual picture's text seems to send the opposite message from what they intended.

Dropping the T at the start of the article linked in the story to the author's own substack?

Yes, this chart is from the Washington Post's own article on the history of left handedness.

The history of left handedness chart, showing a dramatic rise up to 12% and flattening, only after left handedness stopped being punished in schools in the first half of the 20th century.

But the image has been reversed to imply that the punishment of LGBT+ people has lead to people hiding that aspect of themselves.

Imagining how my life will go without the man who hasn't been a part of my life saying that he won't be a part of my life. I'll probably not even notice that someone who has never been here, isn't here.

I do use cognitohazardous, but only as it applies to me.

Went out for some astrophotography with @willawillnot.bsky.social and ended up taking a few extra non-space photos for fun when there wasn't a break in the clouds.

Years of hearing "learn your angles" and "set up three source lighting" and "know what lens length works for you". All beaten by facetiming a friend late at night.

This did not narrow it down, and given that I lived in Louisiana for a while, I don't know that to think.

Start with simple looks, a little eyeliner on the top corner of the eyelid can go a long way, use can use a felt tipped liquid eyeliner as a mascara, just brush the lashes with the felt tip to darken them. Example:

Last night I got to take my wife up to the thermal river, and today with cloudy weather we are having a calm day in the cabin.

I'm a curvy Sylvari with command over the elements living in the floating city of Rata Sum. I make a reasonable amount of gold every day making and selling bags for adventurers. I have friends who spend time with me there, and you probably couldn't drag me back to the real world.

Was out hiking all through the night. Got to an isolated place where I made an hour long recording of thermal spring. Video will be up after I'm home and have time to edit and upload it.

Doing very normal and safe things (hiking alone at night in geothermally active areas). Not to worry, I met another woman who was also doing normal and safe things, and we then hiked together and soaked in the midnight twilight.

Pizza/brewery place was closed by the time I got there, so I ended up just hiking up to the hot river and spending the entire night soaking in the thermal flow.

Today I'm thinking about the EMD SD70MACH, which in addition to one of the coolest names for a locomotive, provides head end power for passenger coaches from the inverter that would have driven the central two axels, creating its unusual B1-1B wheel arrangement.

𝔸𝕝𝕖𝕒 𝕃𝕒𝕔𝕜𝕖𝕪 @alea.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Yes! There are five in the center which reverses the order of the other side, and only those last two got their order reversed, crossing them over, or just skipping them on the next weft would fix it. But it would have to be unwoven to before they were first crossed over to undo the uniqueness.

𝔸𝕝𝕖𝕒 𝕃𝕒𝕔𝕜𝕖𝕪 @alea.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

The tell is the visible gaps where the weft can be seen. The two yellow yarns should be following the left-right-left-right alternation of the previous two green and two yellow, but they are going in the opposite order than they should.

My wife and I had a car stolen while we were on our honeymoon last year, and we finally had the ability to replace it. I've wanted one since they were first announced. A 2024 Subaru Solterra. I took it to a trailhead for a photoshoot this evening.

I can't even find pictures of molten glass for a drawing reference, because shit like this exists. OSHA does not approve this glassblowing technique.
