She’s worried about it so I’m a little worried it’s a mast cell tumor or something but she said it’s also possible it’s a blocked salivary gland but she didn’t sound convinced. She said it doesn’t feel right for that. But I don’t know. Cancer seems very dramatic? I hope.

It could be a blocked salivary gland or it could be something serious and when I asked if she was concerned she said yes so 😕 We have antibiotics just in case it’s something not serious and the sample is going off to pathology. Should know in about a week I guess. Bloodwork comes back earlier.

Doesn’t seem to be but it is sitting right near his trachea so I think it’s making it a little hard to breath.

I mean… it’s a huge mass that grew under his chin that is too hard to be what you’d want it to be. And it could still be a saliva gland. It’ll be a bit until we know.

The vet is concerned 🙁 Which, to be honest, I figured would be the case. But it was fun thinking it was something dumb.

Oh definitely. Duck needs to be able to get away. He’s not leash reactive with dogs really (unless they’re going after him) but with people he can show hints. It’s nervousness.

Duck and Stuart to the most aggressive dog you’ve ever seen: hey! How are ya? We like your vibe! Ooh, you’re serious, eeek. But hey! If you ever change your mind we’ll be over here!

At the vet with Stuart because he decided to grow a huge mass under his chin almost overnight. Excited to spend $2k or whatever on what is probably a tick bite that decided to be dramatic. Stuart unfazed tbh
