Well, Aldi's system stayed down so I'll have to go back another day. But we tried a Universalist Unitarian place for fellowship earlier and I found a spot by David's with really good pupusas for 2.50 each! Early dinner, I'm probably going to bed soon.

One of the prior victims of someone who also later raped me talked stoically to the DA about her own brutal experience, but cried when talking about me re: joining my case because she'd dropped the charges previously due to her personal challenges in the system. It was never her fault.

Little Elias turned 5 today, and likely as far back as he can remember, he and his family have lived through a nightmare. Taking good care of myself has had some uncomfortable and even scary moments. Lots of resistance and rationalizing in the beginning to stay either avoidant or discouraged. But the more I put in and live through that and the kinder I am to myself, the easier and more rewarding it becomes. 💚
