🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scotland faces big challenges from Climate Change - but also big opportunities. 📈 By taking action now, we can create good, well paying jobs, and lower energy bills. First Minister @johnswinney.bsky.social outlined our approach to Climate Change this morning 👇

Two years ago, Labour opposed the Internal Market Act - which is nothing short of an undemocratic power grab from Westminster. Today, Labour have just voted together with the Tories against protecting the powers of our Parliament. Only the SNP will stand up for Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Deputy FM Kate Forbes on #bbcqt: “Labour promised energy bills would go down by £300 - instead, bills have been hiked twice. We can do things differently in Scotland when we have power in the hands of the people.”

Leaving the door ajar for Nigel Farage is a spineless act of utter desperation from Anas Sarwar. Under the leadership of John Swinney, @thesnp.bsky.social will always stand up for Scotland's values and flatly reject Reform's damaging agenda.

Five years after we left the EU, people are still paying the price. We’re ready to work with Westminster to forge closer bonds with Europe, says Scotland’s first minister John Swinney

Labour is making it more expensive to run the local services you use every day. We’re giving councils £144 million to help cover 60% of the damage caused by the UK government’s National Insurance hike. Labour would rather make you pay in the form of massive council tax rises.

Scotland has what it takes to thrive—but only if we choose it. We must seize our energy potential, grow our population, and rejoin the EU. It won’t be easy, but it’s vital. We're ready to put in the work. Join us. www.snp.org/join

Great event @sccscot.bsky.social, uniting Scotland for climate action. V useful insights from Emma @climateoutreach.bsky.social - people want climate leadership & a fair transition. Good to hear Zarina Ahmad on engaging marginalised communities. And of course Minister @alasdairallanmsp.bsky.social

📣 @johnswinney.bsky.social "The SNP Government will effectively end the two-child cap in Scotland – and we will lift over 15,000 children out of poverty in the process." ✍️ Read FM John Swinney on the SNP Scottish Government plan to end this cruel Labour & Tory policy. 📄 www.snp.org/the-snp-will...

The SNP will end the two-child cap and lift thousands out of poverty — Scottish National Party
My message to Labour is this – join us in ending the two-child cap, and let us speak with one voice in saying that child poverty in Scotland should be a thing of the past.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 People across Scotland need to have a warm, safe, and affordable place to live. 🏘️ We'll boost Scotland's affordable housing supply, investing £768m in our housing programme. 🔨 This enables housing providers to deliver at least 8,000 homes.

🏥 Our budget will deliver £2 billion more for Scotland's NHS - taking funding to a record £21 billion. 🩺 We’ll make it easier for people to access GP appointments, improve A&E, and ensure more Scots get the care they need in good time.

Encouraging to hear reflections from @alasdairallanmsp.bsky.social at the Energy Action Scotland Conference to commit to working with UK ministers on energy market reform, social tariff, energy debt and the looming radio tele switch off to ensure the fuel poor are at the heart of decision making.
