One of my fond memories of working on the CLA project is coming across clarissima et spectabilis femina Aemilia Andronicene. Especially in Late Antique narrative sources women are often left nameless and identified solely by their relationship to men, as mothers, daughters, wives etc.

Exactly. At least in Denmark I've seen too many commentators confidently state that it's got to be an accident because Russia wouldn't dare do such a thing on purpose. Of course they would! Putin is losing a war and that makes people very tolerant of running risks.
