regardless of where you land on copyright, you gotta hand it to Wikipedia credit for maintaining such (excessively) cautious case-by-case approach to potential copyright violations while AI companies are out here looting every last speck of human creativity with near impunity

THIS IS YOUR MONDAY KYUNGSOO @mondaykyungsoo.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY! BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, AND I MEAN THIS IN THE MOST SINCERE WAY POSSIBLE, HAPPY MONDAY! AS WE ARE ALL WELL AWARE OF BY NOW, JANUARY IS KIND OF THE MONDAY OF THE YEAR. SO THIS IS OUR MONTH HERE AT MONDAY KYUNGSOO! I WISH YOU ALL THE HAPPINESS IN THE WORLD!!

A cartoony drawing of Kyungsoo riding a whale shark that is floating in the sky. The dark blue whale shark is sporting multicoloured stars instead of the usual spots. In the blue sky, there are white and grey clouds, and a group of birds are placed so as to spell “2026”. Kyungsoo is smiling, wearing a green jumper, and a pair of brown trousers.

sometimes you can really tell if the author of a fic is bilingual or not like when words are direct cognates, that would not be the phrase someone struggles on also just how and when you use a little bit of the other language can get so jarringly unrealistic

Happy jerboas 🐭

Jerboas are hopping desert rodents. Eight species of jerboas are happily frolicking on a purple background - night desert. Their paws are covered in fur, helping them stay steady in the sand.Sand flies like stardust beneath the feet of a jumping jerboa. Cute and sparkly atmosphere.

The older I get, the more my politics mature from childish, naïve beliefs like "the world is complicated and leaders have to make hard decisions" to more serious, adult principles like "hurting people is bad and helping people is good."
