Too bad for whichever one gets on the £50 note as when did you last see one of those? Given that all the £10s and £20s, and almost all the £5s to have passed through my hands still have QE2 on them it'll be a while before any of these are in circulation. www.theguardian.com/business/202...

Who designed the new Jag? Did they hire the same guy who designed the Cybertruck? It's a bloated monstrosity aimed at bloated monstrosities with no sense of style. Malcolm Sayer must be spinning in his grave.
Taken from The Guardian, 7th October 2026, regarding the new Jaguar car.
"Latest model is launching in New York to target rich US buyers - and is more than 5.2 metres long and 2 metres wide"
The image is of the new car, a slab like grey monstrosity.
"It has no rear window, will not fit into a UK parking space and - starting at £130,000 - ($172,000) is aimed squarely at rich tech industry buyers driving the wide open roads of America."

Man, that new anime series "FX Fighter Kuromi-chan" has one hell of a disclaimer at the start.
The disclaimer (which I'm not typing in) states what a dangerous business FX trading is to be in where you could lose vast amounts of money and destroy your life. It's a very long disclaimer with several lines of text.

With Doctor Who up for tender, what next? The Disney deal having fallen through means no Muppet Doctor Who. Maybe get Science Saru to do an Anime Doctor Who? Maybe reboot the whole damn thing to do away with messy 'canon' which the original writers didn't give a stuff about anyway? Or just leave it?

Maybe more people would visit websites by Reach if they weren't such massively ad-stuffed and click-baity heaps of where only 10% or less of a page is actual content?
The publisher of the Mirror and Express newspapers is to cut a further 220 editorial jobs as it adapts to a dramatic fall in online traffic while readers increasingly turn to summaries generated by artificial intelligence.

Reach, which also owns scores of online brands and regional titles including the Manchester Evening News, the Birmingham Mail and the Liverpool Echo, said the latest cuts were necessary to cope with a “mammoth shift” in how audiences seek out content.
