I was told I should probably post my art / WIPs more so here's a sketch I've been working on of the cast of the Wish & Mercy prequel. I've still got four characters to go! Teeth & Penance is about the ten year span Lazarus and Rhett spent on the Fallarian Isle and I'm REALLY proud of it holy crap.

Group shot WIP of Teeth & Penance cast (incomplete): Felix, Zephyrine, Rhett, Lanz, Lazarus, Yin, and Kavi.

A few of the most helpful things you can do to help an indie author is repost their promos, review their books, and post about your reviews on socials. Just talk about their books. Word of mouth is the most important tool we have. Without it, we disappear.

So, yes, there's brotherfucking (my bad), but honestly you should just show up for the banter. #booksky #darkfantasy #fantasybooks #fantasy a.co/d/0cwa12CW

Text screenshot with two character portraits. "There was a thump from somewhere and a stream of cursing that grew louder. Finally, the door opened just a crack. Aleth glared out with a blanket and bedhead.
Tizzy folded her arms, and a smug grin crawled across her face. 'Good morning.'
'Morning? Tizzy, what the hell are you doing here?'
'What do you mean? You told me to be here by dawn! Well guess what? It's by dawn.'
He rubbed his face and looked over his shoulder at a grimy window. 'It's almost four hours till sunrise! If I had known you were going to get all nocturnal on me, I would have made you decide on the spot!'
'Are you going to let me in?' she asked, taking a step closer. 'Or are we restricting this bullshit to the hallway?'
He grumbled, then open the door. 'Just wait in the corner for a few minutes, okay?'
'You want me to stand in the corner?' She put her hands on her hips and stepped inside as he closed the door. 'Are you kidding?'
'No, I'm not! I'm wearing a blanket, Tizzy. Quit being a brat, face the corner, and let me get dressed!'"

My wife gave me her old Kindle to use on holiday. It's covered in jokey stickers about romantasy and smut so she asked if I wanted to peel them off. I think the stickers hide the fact that I'm actually reading Warhammer 40k novels which is much more embarrassing so they stay where they are.

A nice cozy backdrop with a sweater, an open book, a cup with a latte ready to sip, and some branches with white flowers. Posted on top is a quote from AJ Gala's threads: "Ever wish there was a fantasy book that gave off the vibes of that weirdly incestuous Folgers commercial? You know the one. You haven't ever wished that? Oh. Well here it is anyway." Book is Wish & Mercy by AJ Gala.

A front view of a beige Apple Macintosh IIcx desktop computer from 1989. The setup includes a tall CRT monitor sitting atop the slim computer case, an external floppy disk drive to the right, a full-size Apple keyboard in front, and a one-button mouse. The system is photographed against a clean white background, highlighting its minimalist industrial design and compact form factor for its era.

Our favorite old hecklers, Statler and Waldorf~ I made this with #Blender and #ClipStudioPaint! Really looking forward to doing more detailed art like this one!

Created in Blender by CurdleGames. A high detail PBR render of Statler and Waldorf, the old man heckler duo from The Muppets. They're riding Bowser's Clown Copter so that they can heckle more efficiently, allowing them to heckle others from any height or angle, or even circle around them while slinging insults. They have suits, grey hair, big heads, and even muppet fuzz. Statler is looking at the viewer saying something, probably an setup for a joke, while Waldorf gives a derpy look to the viewer, unsuspectingly getting ready to knock down whatever Statler sets up. They're completely unchained!!

Me: Living the dream if someone said "Ugh I wish I could find a queernormative dark fantasy book with creepy autumn vibes, a horrible mystery that gets more intense by the second, and piping hot taboo family gossip" because then I could tell them about Wish and Mercy. #booksky a.co/d/0cwa12CW

snes, ps1, gamecube, dreamcast, ps2 are all defunct consoles. they no longer require any kind of licensing to make games for them Id love to see a blossoming of GOOD unity/godot tools and exporters for those consoles, so that homebrew can evolve beyond random curiosities into more full games
