🐦‍⬛❕HUMAN EXPERIENCE Stickers have been restocked on my ko-fi!! :> ko-fi.com/s/3ecf690ed7 #formline #indigenousart #telekitneticart
A picture of a 3-inch anti-generative AI rainbow holographic sticker with a formline design on it. The design has a black border with sparkles lining it. Text within the border reads “you cannot automate the human experience.” The formline design depicts a decapitated robot head with vacant eyes. Next to it are two ravens, with one raven perched on the head with a piece of the robot’s antenna in its beak.

In the past, heavy snows would scrape the mountainside, maintaining marmot habitat on Vancouver Island. Recently though warmer winters with less snow has resulted in the need to restore marmot meadows by hand.
The same meadow slope, without many of the young trees. There are still a few, so there's still more work to do here!

Rlly glad that the human experience sticker is getting lots of love, but I also wanted to showcase my most recent sticker, this red fox :D 🦊 ko-fi.com/s/f2cbcd795a #formline #telekitneticart Look at it
A formline sticker of a red fox. The fox is a striking rust-orange, with gradienting darker umber on its snout and tail, and pale yellow chest/ear fluff and tail tip. It has it's tail wrapped around it's body, hiding its legs. It's head is angled to the left side. The sticker border is a gradienting light green to forest green, the sticker is about 2.25 x 3 inches, and is laying flat on a green and white grid cutting sheet.

This is just another gift to an oil industry already on track to make $100 billion in wartime profits this year alone. We pay, we take on the risk, and they reap the rewards.

Throwing billions in public money behind a pipeline at a time of climate breakdown – while sweeping aside environmental protections, meaningful Indigenous consultation and workers’ right to strike – is absolutely not in the national interest.

The oil industry is unwilling to pay for this pipeline because even they know the world is moving away from fossil fuels. This project leaves Canadians bearing all the risks of a bad investment without any of the rewards.

not to rant about bc politics on main, but it REALLY is a choice to start the announcement of a new pipeline by acknowledging the climate change crisis and wildfire increase in the area. And mentioning that the Indigenous nations will be "consulted" on it, all less then 24 hours after T&R day.

The marmots at Haley Lake seems to follow the early to bed early to rise strategy. This is the same colony that we detected our first emergence this spring. These photos were taken earlier this summer at the colony, back when there still wildflowers to munch.
A marmot stands in the grass while it consumes a Columbia Lily. Really, the orange lily looks tasty, and the marmot certainly seems to think so as it was eating as many of them as it could find!

… the other maybe not so much! There is probably another month before these pups and their parents enter hibernation, but in the alpine cold weather can start abruptly and it is best to be prepared. Once underground, they will hibernate for 7 months, living entirely on body fat.
