I still feel rather new here so I thought I'd share a bit more about me. I, of course, love reading. But I also like a lot of different creative pursuits like fiber arts! Also, my usual commander is Arahbo, Roar of the World (specifically the OMG KITTIES variant).

My Non-Writing Hobbies. Reading, knitting, playing video games, painting, coloring, drawing. Magic the Gathering (commander), ballet & barre, sewing, others to be determined by my flights of fancy and whims.

I will never use gnerative AI, LLMs, or any other technology that destroys the planet, destroys people's empathy, and is used to make the world a worse place. It has no place in my creative process. Pen and paper + Scrivener are really all I need.

On the one hand, living on the top floor of a high rise means I have to wait 5 minutes for an elevator and the ride itself is also 5 minutes. On the other hand I get to see every single lightning bolt for miles. And right now, I'm really enjoying that.

It doesn't matter what I am doing or how focused I am, "Insatiable" starts playing and I have to pause and either cry because Shadowbringers was so good or start singing along. Either/or. Same with A Long Fall. It's actually pretty dangerous to add any FFXIV songs to a playlist.

One thing I love about my WIPs is that my fae are matrilineal. And also the evil fairies aren't portrayed as cruel, lazy, and slovenly. Their homeland also is not just a misspelling of the name given to Ireland by the Romans.
