i really hope to one day see a more comprehensive fix of the speed issue in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. all the solutions are like AR codes that uncap the frame rate and leave a lot of stuff moving too fast. I would love an in-between that fixes the lower level problems to improve the games overall

teens can end up on these lists for sending each other consenting nudes. people end up on this list for peeing outside. dont forget that the mother who advocated for this list after the killing of her son has become one of its biggest critics. dont forget this app is an excuse to steal your data

i hope at least that people will give grace to the fact that many trans women (a group frequently subject to mob judgement) might panic and get defensive at the sight of (even justified) mob judgement. maybe that means i should have reqused myself from the conversation entirely

this is pretty much my stance. and currently the only instance we know of was put out by a right-wing troll without concern for the victim's wishes. i understand people feel hurt and *also* people have a right to privacy about a criminal history that has already been addressed with the victim.

Ailish Maura @ailishmaura.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

i agree. people have a right to privacy about their criminal history especially when their actions have already been addressed with the victim. this decade-old information was put out by right-wingers without regard for the victim. kill the cop in your head.

There is so, so much girl stuff just left on the table. Like why did we not have a decent mermaid game? There's trash on steam, like pervert anime games and things where mermaid is in the title, but there's no like, swim around and brush your hair on the rocks shit.

ive noticed a few factors that impact my nervous system's reaction to an insect or spider: - size, of course (smaller than my thumb i can usually ignore) - location. outside? that's where they're supposed to be. no skin off my back. inside? hmmm. in my house? hmmmmmmm. in my bedroom? nononono

cant find a snappy way to put this but reddit stories occupy a similar place as astrology and cryptids. 99.9999999% nonsense but some people are interested in the vibes and let themselves buy into the fiction i dont mean this as a blanket judgement of those things or those people

the ebook/print-on-demand version of Paladin to Witch includes an essay about the origins and development of the story including its many inspirations, plus a look at some of the concept sketches for monsters that I sent to Botjira

for some reason its so fun to take the name of a well known mythical creature and apply it to a really fucked up creature that really twists the concept. as an example, the basilisk in Tower Dungeon

its like a many winged moth with an owl's head. the moth wings have eye shapes

checklist to self-publish a print version of Paladin to Witch: Volume 1 1. update author bio because i have a baby now 2. decide if i'm still going with draft2digital considering their nonsense 3. make sure the images will print properly without pixilation 4. build hype for pre-orders

this kind of outlook is so important to me, especially when kids and teens are often being exposed to AI like its a cool or neutral thing. it is never too late to leave that stuff behind

tumblr post by shanesmouth: I love humanity way more than I hate gen AI. Humans make choices they regret for all kinds of reasons. If you’ve used gen AI in your fan works and are down to move forward without it now, there is a place for you in this fandom and I’m glad you’re here.

there have been many times in my life when I’ve done something I regret that was motivated by a need for belonging, fear of rejection, desire for connection, the search for a place of esteem among peers, etc, including in fandom spaces. It’s painful to see other people getting quantifiable, concrete evidence that they’re wanted and appreciated and seen (notes, kudos, comments, bookmarks, subscriptions, replies, asks) while you get less. No matter how much we tell ourselves that engagement metrics don’t correlate to worth or belonging, they wouldn’t be part of the platforms we use if they didn’t have a psychological effect on us. Humans fuck up for the same reasons we make art and build communities and having the impulse to get your needs met doesn’t make you different or other
