Could ask him why he favours big business over the welfare of vulnerable citizens? Business is booming, but the poor are poorer, the disabled are nowhere near fully supported, the elderly are poorer but the rich are richer. Why is GDP more important than quality of life for his voters?

I'm less excited by the role post interview. It's short term, I'm currently permanent. But there is potential to open lots of career doors longer term, given the area I'll be getting experience in. So IF I get it, which I have no clue about, I've a big decision to make. All advice appreciated!

Yep. Pensioners can't downsize because they can't find a suitable home in their locale. People with new disabilities or age related movement issues can't find suitable accommodation. Domestic violence survivors can't find alternative accomodation. Always impacts the most vulnerable more.

People have missed chemo/radiotherapy/dialysis appointments. Carers can't get to who they need. Ambulances and fire services have been hindered. And counter-intuitively they've worsened the fuel crisis. But if you don't support all that, you've turned your back on people? Makes no sense.

They get so much traction with the "fighting for the working class" stuff, when in reality the right prey on the working class hoping for blind support as they drain them of their wealth. I saw a woman I know very well doing to whole "fighting for all of us" chat about the fuel protests.
