Black-and-white photograph of a ruined stone church standing at the edge of open countryside. The composition is divided almost vertically: the left half is filled by a close view of an ancient wall, its surface crowded with rough flint, irregular stones, pale mortar, and larger squared blocks framing the edge. The masonry is sharply detailed, with strong contrast revealing pitted textures, cracks, lichen, and weathering. Several pale stones catch the light and stand out against darker rubble, while the wall’s right edge forms a clean vertical line near the centre of the frame. Beyond it, the scene opens abruptly into farmland. Black-and-white photograph of a ruined medieval stone structure viewed from inside.
