As a Husky, I realized I was weird about twenty minutes after interacting with my first non-Husky dog (As a Husky's nominal owner, I realized when I was a kid, and so many other kids were always worried about what everyone else thought about them.)

(Eh, in the second game you meet some explorers from other cradles who do have noticeably different cultures; spoiler they seem much more into exploring the ruins in their home so they have reclaimed some bits of the lost cultures from the apocalypse)

(Dune did develop other cultures after the death of Leto II, it was kind of the point of his Golden Path. Humans spread so far out into the universe that nothing would be able to get all of them at once.)

(Cuddlebug is definitely my favorite flavor of carpet shark. The others I have owned were Escape Artist; Rubber Chewer; Unreasonably Bitey; and Dumber Than Rocks. The first and last are certainly entertaining, although a bit tiring perhaps.)

(Mind you, I'm someone who was diagnosed late in life. (- my moment of realization was saying "doesn't everyone do that?" to my then 8 year old kid's child psychologist - ) Looking back, I would have benefited tremendously from getting a diagnosis at 8 or 18 instead of 38)

(She is, problem is she knows it! I tried cross-county skiing with her a few times the 2nd and 3rd winter after she picked me; the big problem was she didn't want to stick to the marked trails It's quite hard to stop a determined Husky from pulling.)

(While hiking with Mina last weekend, I was going around a corner with her in front and heard a "aaah! Oh wait it's a Husky" A couple of 40something ladies apparently thought she was a coyote until they saw the harness)
