Wonder Woman is another silly "impossible" story where three different versions of her at different ages all adventure together. And while the intro at least references the "impossible" aspect of it, the story weirdly calls the three versions "sisters" of each other.

Avengers is just a slugfest, but Fantastic Four finally introduces significant new powers for Sue Storm and acknowledges that she has the potential to grow even more powerful.

"You have greater powers of invisibility than you suspect, Sue!"

"You created a shield of invisible energy!"

"I can also make OTHER things invisible..."

Thor drives off Mr Hyde, but fails to defeat him because Jane Foster interferes, thinking she's saving Donald Blake's life. Sadly, this also causes her to fail Odin's dumb test to see if she's worthy of immortality and marrying Thor. #LastFourComics #michaelmaycomix

Yes, we have FINALLY tackled the undisputed masterpiece of Sherlock Holmes movies, starring the undisputed best actor to play Sherlock Holmes: Charlton Heston. Check out what @michaelmay.bsky.social, @paxholley.com, @jacobbeanwatson.bsky.social & I thought about Crucifer of Blood (1991)!

I really want to gush on Batman: Beyond the White Knight #8. It's such a great comic. But I don't know to do that without spoiling it, so I won't try. But it's a great frickin' comic.

They marketed Generation: Joker as a spin-off, because it's mostly created by people who aren't Sean Murphy, but it's based on his characters and ideas and feels as much part of the saga as the stuff he made by himself.

The premise of the series is that hologram Jack Napier is degrading and will soon be deleted, so he takes his kids on a road trip to help them understand their roots.

I also love the way Murphy suggests age lines without trying to get super realistic about them. There are years on these characters.

This is a great speech. I've said it many times now, but I love these versions of the characters. We're getting to see character development that's really hard to make stick in the ongoing, "canonical" adventures.

The FF issue is classic. Hate-Monger's identity is a well-known spoiler, but it's a great issue for how it blasts the evil of fascism. It's also the introduction of Nick Fury into the modern timeline after all his appearances in WWII stories. He works for the CIA and has no eyepatch yet.
