Another friend from my RPG work, @oldoakgames.bsky.social is running a campaign for a horror RPG inspired by survival horror games like Resident Evil. I only got to work with Emmet for a bit, but I was impressed by his design instincts, and I felt kinship for a fellow Warhammer RPG designer.

We're big fans of local Saint Paul band Alligator Orchestra. After hearing songs they wrote about Root, we commissioned them to record a Kart theme song. They came back with "Don't Look Down!", two minutes of raucous pop-punk that's perfect for Kart's reckless downhill races.

We just got back from a fan event for Earthborne Rangers where fans organized a whole themed scavenger hike through Rocky Mountain National Park with people in cosplay along the way who would meet you in the wilderness. It was awesome, and super rewarding to see people so engaged in our setting!
