We just donated another $200 to @hausofcodec.bsky.social from sales from Loser Babies! That's now a total of $300 that went directly to them! Love to see it! For integrity:

Okay, I'm gonna say it. As a DIY label, the fact that we got to help release a @jesusjonesband.bsky.social song is crazy to us. The physical copies of Loser Babies is probably the most limited item in their discography ever. Don't sleep on it! afewgoodrecords.bandcamp.com/album/loser-...

Hi! I'm Rachel Garrett Steele. I'm part of this record, and I think it's pretty damn great. If you want to hear nearly a dozen meditations on one of the most complicated legacies in pop music, in a dazzling variety of styles and approaches, I cannot recommend "Loser Babies" enough

Just to come back with receipts, Max sold both the publishing and songwriting royalties to Is a Real Boy (and In Defense of the Genre) 3 years ago. When we say he makes literally no money off of our tribute compilation, we mean it. It's the only reason we aren't taking it down.

We have a tribute compilation to The Beach Boys coming out this Friday. All Brian Wilson joints. Fuck Mike Love. K see you then.

A Few Good Records @afewgoodrecords.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

This aged well. Just gonna throw out there that he doesn't receive any royalties from our tribute comp so feel free to replace IARB in your music library with Is a Real Tribute.
