Hey guys, I just recieved my stickers from @kodabugart.bsky.social and I love them!!! I've written a full review of them on my Tumblr and Instagram (link in bio), but needless to say, these stickers are awesome! They're bright, vibrant, and easy to stick down! Thank you, Kodabug! #art #etsy

A poke sheet I created for @kodabugart.bsky.social! I had so much fun drawing their oc that I decided to make them into a Pokémon, hence the name Koanimus (inspired by their sticker pack)!

Happy first day of Halloween! For any writers out here what’s a line you’ve written that still jumpscares you every time you read it? Doesn’t have to be scary! Can be so bad you flinch, so good you blink rapidly in surprise, or just flat out shocking. #writing #writersofbluesky #authorsofbluesky

The lovely thing about being a multi-faceted artist is I get to draw my own book characters and make animations of them and make stickers of them and put them all over the place and look at them all the time 💛 #writing #booksky #smallartist #art

My partner and I started making stickers after we got into an accident a year ago. Since then, we've been trying to put our art out there more, so if you want to support two small starving artists (and a little beetle) check out the link-tree in our bio! #small-artist #art #stickers #etsy #accident

SO! I technically finished my first draft of my book by the end of the year! A big checkpoint for me! But now I’m going to step away from it to study the craft and read more, so I can return and rewrite draft2 with a stronger skill set! #writing #writersofbsky #authorsofbsky

If you’re looking for a free way to support an author, did you know you can ask your library to stock a book you want to read that they don’t have yet? And usually it’s a very basic online form? Google your library name plus the words “request a title” or “suggest a title” to find yours.

One thing that gets me real hyped up about my book is imagining the fanfiction and memes and fan edits I’m gonna see about my characters once it’s out What are some things you think people will make into memes with your book? #books #writing #writersofbluesky

Why do cats like to step DIRECTLY on your most injured area? I got surgery on my leg and my cats have chosen to walk on the two exact spots where my stitches are. Why?? Please?

How do you do commissions without feeling totally discouraged about your #art style when trying to match another person’s character design ? Im barely past the sketch and my heart sinks heavier every time I look @ the faces I’m drawing. Its not my style but my style doesnt match the character 😩

Reminder to offer your sons books (and audiobooks) you're not sure they will read (or listen to), just in case they do. My 12yo is 3 hours in on Little Women. Giving boys fiction that makes it clear girls and women have a rich interior life is important, now and always, I think.

I've talked to a few folks this morning who were talking about stopping work on their creative projects. Because it's "not important anymore." I don't know who needs to hear this, but DON'T DO THAT. We win by living our lives as loudly and truly as we can. That includes your "silly" art project.

Are you a NA reader who enjoyed most of the early 2010 YA dystopian series such as these: Twilight Maze Runner Divergent Hunger Games Skyward If you were presented a book written with the same dystopian vibe/feel but aimed for New Adults rather than Young Adults, would you read it?
