So far not bad! I’m relatively early on into mine. I’ve been working on this book for about a year and a half and am on my second draft! I still have a long way to go with it. I really enjoy the process and craft of writing, so i dont mind taking my time with it 😌 how about you??

Though I’d suggest write the dialogue/chapter with the expectation that you’ll end up going back and rewriting it and potentially removing a good chunk of unnecessary dialogue. Write first, edit and organise later!

As long as the dialogue is at least occasionally split off by some action or simple detail to give us a sense of where we are physically, and as long as the dialogue is necessary to get the point across, then as much as you can fit I suppose!

As a 28yo, I can say that your age has very little to do with things getting harder. That’s just our society atm But it gets easier for you personally as you continue to grow and figure yourself out. Just remember to acknowledge the good days as much as the bad ones, or else it will all look bad!
