A friend of mine was using a tool to analyze market research for his game. As a check he tested it on DELTARUNE. Seems like I have a lot of things to work on...

Weaknesses:
- Unskippable cutscenes
- Some chapters feel half-baked
- Minor bugs
- Excessive makeout scenes
- Slow segments in gameplay

We'll receive the first draft of the Japanese translation of Chapter 5 next week! Meanwhile, we've been polishing the game and doing some preliminary internal bugtesting on PC. Heavy bugtesting across every console will happen when the Japanese translation is done.

Now that's Winter, I'm thinking about NEWSLETTER. But I haven't written anything for one yet... Right now, my energy is going towards preparing Chapter 5 for localization. The translation process begins next week. We have extracted all the English text and we are now annotating it.

It's crazy how slow your computer gets when your hard drive is almost full, and yet there's no flashing red lights to remind you to delete stuff. Pro tip: the app WinDirStat is really helpful at finding huge files that you don't need any more.

I think part of the challenge with games here is that we haven't fully decided if they're art or entertainment. Part of that comes from games possibly being an unprecedentedly broad medium. Part of it is about the relationship between creator and audience + how easy it is to edit digital goods.

I don’t know why so many people take issue with the Value Proposition of Slay the Princess. Few other titles allow you the sheer efficiency of following orders and the validation of saving the world in so little time and for under 20 bucks.
