Dragon Affirmations :dragnowo:

A black-scaled dragon sitting on their haunches upon a light gray rock ledge, almost cat-like in their pose (except with wings). The text says,
"You are ferocious
Your scales are shiny
Your teeth are as sharp as knives"

I got a very moving Ask about avoiding defeatism on the forbidden website, and I wanted to share it because it's something I believe very strongly

a tumblr ask post. anonymous asked, If this isn't overstepping, do you have any advice for not falling into defeatism? You seem good at having hope for the future. Superdillin answered, It's NOT easy. The world doesn't make it easy. But take a look at someone you love. Or someone who brings you joy, whether you know them intimately or not. Would you want them to give up? At their lowest moment would you tell them there's no point, and that there's no chance that things get better? Likely not, but it's harder to turn that grace inward.

To widen that same concept, make sure you are looking at the overwhelming amounts of people who are helping to make the world better. The food bank operators and the organizers and the caretakers and the volunteers. People who research under-funded illnesses and who vaccinate in their local neighborhoods. People who create art and share it with strangers to feel connection. People who make soup for their sick loved ones and who encourage them to achieve their dreams.

None of those people deserve to be told that none of it is worth it. And the world would be worse if a single one of them gave up. And the world would be worse if you did, too.

Why cant people be normal and just say post? It's not a skeet, it's not a bluey, and it's not a tweet. Just say post. Seriously though what were people thinking with skeet? I know it's sky + tweet but, just, no.

Old ADHD vent comic of mine that went viral on twitter a while back. I ended up closing comments because of the amount of people telling me this wasn't ADHD (because decision paralysis and bad task initiation doesn't fit their idea of it, I guess?) Good times lol #MentalHealth #ADHD #comic 🎨

a 3 panel comic by areyoshi. In panel one, they are sitting at their desk, trying to draw on their graphics tablet. The panel says 'Do something.' In panel two, their tablet pen is hovering uselessly above the screen. It says 'DO SOMETHING!' In panel three, they are pressing their face against the tablet screen, no longer trying to draw, but clearly upset and frustrated. This panels says, in all lowercase letters, 'just do something'

Greta is done with people who won't stand up against imperialism: "You will not be forgiven." "If you have a platform and stay silent while imperialism, genocide, climate collapse & fascism spread—you are complicit. Speak up. Push beyond what’s ‘acceptable.’ Now is not the time for cowardice."

Screenshot of an Instagram post by Greta Thunberg. The post says:
“If you — in everything that is currently going on in terms of escalating imperialism, genocides, climate– and ecological collapse, complete erosion of democracy and human rights — have a platform, but every day continue to actively choose not to use it and take a stance, then you will not be forgiven. And now I’m of course not talking about spineless watered down statements like ‘save the world’ or ‘I want equality in theory but not in practice, and just for my part of the world’.
One of the extremely few tools we have at hands now is the possibility of outreach and try to impact the public opinion. This is especially true if you belong to a demographic group that is benefiting from these oppressive systems.
You who have platforms have the immense privilege of setting the narrative, people look up to you and you therefore have a huge responsibility of pushing the limits of what is considered ‘mainstream’.
You are never not encouraged to change and move over to the side of justice, and it is never ‘too late’ to do your best. But the fact that you STILL do not to use your extremely valuable outreach that many would kill for, because you are scared of it impacting your career, your popularity or some other incomprehensible excuse, just know that you will not be forgiven. And in time I would be surprised if you will be able to forgive yourself.”

noticed this character design mistake is pretty common. hope this helps! does this to all of your faves

A 4 panel comic. Panel 1: Red text saying "X! Character is NOT a dragon!" with an arrow pointing at a stick figure, while I lean in from out of frame.

Panel 2: I, a big dragon, grab the stick figure's face and backside. White text says "STEP 1: Grab Firmly"

Panel 3: I yank the stick figure's backside and pull on his face, instantly transforming him into a dragon. White text says "STEP 2: Pull!"

Panel 4: Three green check marks with green text that says "FIXED!" I give a thumbs up. The newly transformed dragon sits and looks at his own talons with wide eyes. A sparkly rainbow aura surrounds his head. It is labeled "Post-TF Euphoria" in faint gray text.
