My wife spotted this Lodge Mickey Mouse cast iron gem pan on Facebook Marketplace. I don’t think it was ever used. I did a quick seasoning with Crisco then made corn bread. Turned out nice! I’ll probably try brownies or cake next. °o° #castiron #dissky #disney

Another slow day at #OSH26. Visibility 2mi & haze (smoke). Field is IFR; tower is not granting Special VFR requests. It’s just too hard for transient pilots to safely navigate & land VFR. So, IFR ops only. Crowd is patiently waiting for the handful of IFR inbounds to land.

Starting to look like airplane parts! Dancing Wings 2 meter J3 Cub

Right wing of my 2 meter wingspan Cub. Balsa frame covered in thin woven polyester fabric that looks similar to tissue paper.

All control surfaces unattached and covered with polyester fabric. Horizontal and vertical stabilizers, ailerons, flaps, elevators and rudder.
