Missing doing art hours & too tired to do art hours 😔

Artby_Elijoh @aelijoh.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Stripe has asked for my ID and I will thus be closing the account, meaning that I am out of options on sending invoices, so I'm unavailable to do commissions. I haven't donecommissions in a good while since getting a full time job, still sucks that the options out there for solo artists are so few.

Image depicting Agent Twilight, aka Adora Forger. She's holding a gun in her hand with a serious/professional expression. She's standing back to back with Catra Briar, holding her hair-needle and weapon of choice in her hand. Her expression serious and slightly suspicious of her surroundings.

I can't believe we're going back to this kind of discourse but: Using references isn't cheating Using 3D mannequins and photo references is STANDARD, even for professional artists Shaming people and pushing them to draw exclusively from memory is harmful and can set back people who are learning

A digital illustration of Catra from She-Ra (2018) in her S5 outfit, laying on her back on a bed with pink sheets. Her hair is long again, her hands resting above her head as Adora's hands reach in from out of frame, pinning her down by her wrist and linking their fingers together. Adora's shadow is cast on Catra as she looks up with hooded eyes, lips parted and panting. Catra's blush is deep, her expression serene and spellbound.

Viking-Adora and Lady Catra - Part 1 ⚔⛵ Sharing this comic I worked on intensely in 2023, bc I have finally admitted that I won't finish the comic 🥲 #Shera #Spop #Catradora #SpopVikingAU (I worked hard on the alt text, so for translations etc in this series - look to the alt texts)

Catra sits upon a wooden throne, dressed in Viking-esque attire. She looks unimpressed and sighs as her staff adresses her. They say: "Lady Catherine, the proposal painting of the esteemed Jarl Adora och the North as arrived."

Panel 2:
Catra rubs her eyes and sighs once more. "Ugh.. I forgot about that... Fine, send it in please."

Panel 3:
Catra has a shocked expression as she looks up with a very intense stare.

Panel 4:
A painting of Adora, standing tall and gazing proudly into the viewer. She has her engraved sword and is wearing casual attire.

Viking-Adora and Lady Catra - Part 15 ⚔⛵ (Updates will be slow since I work full time, fyi) #Shera #Spop #Catradora #SpopVikingAU (I worked hard on the alt text, so for translations etc in this series - look to the alt texts)

Catra out of frame: "Sure, there is nothing of importance built in those woods."

Workers are creating a clearing, chopping down trees and cutting back bushes.

Adora is checking in on the creation of theirs and Catra's wedding runestone, standing behind a stonecarver.

"Even so, we will nurture the environment there. Our people value nature and what it has to aid us with. The ritual site will be a spot to return to for years to come, I assure you! It will be glorious!"

The Runestone is in Elder Futhark and reads: "Katherines strength is ewerlasting" and "Adoras devotion--" the rest is unfinished.

Viking-Adora and Lady Catra - Part 14 ⚔⛵ Comic revival in 2026, please excuse my rust... 👀💦 (Updates will be slow since I work full time, fyi) #Shera #Spop #Catradora #SpopVikingAU (I worked hard on the alt text, so for translations etc in this series - look to the alt texts)

"Ehum" Catra gets up off the floor and dusts herself off, Glimmer snickers gleefully behind her. "Excuse our tardiness."

"No worries! We are going over the wedding plans. So you are just in time, I think!"

Adora, Catra, Glimmer, Duncan, Bow and Lonnie stands around a map displayed on a table between them.

"Specifically, we're speaking of where the ritual will take place..." Adora looks thoughtful, looking down at the map. Something catches Bow's attention, he's wide eyed.

Catra blush slightly at the mention of the mysterious ritual. "Okay, well... what do you need?" she asks. Glimmer stares in shock besides her.

Adora replies out of frame: "Mostly just an open sky and close to nature..."

Catra imagines yet another nightly sacrificial ritual where nude people are gathered under the stars in front of a bonnfire, with a goat on an altar. On either side of the altar Catra and Adora stands, Adora is unfazed - Catra is distraught.

A finger points to a wooded part of the map. Adora continues: "We were thinking of building the ritual site in this wooded part. If you approve, of course!"
