In the 6 years since I got my pacemaker: I've moved 3x, changed career paths, met the love of my life, bought a house, hiked in 42 states, gained a sister-in-law and a niece, and worked on building the life worth living I promised scared 33-year-old me. So a Federal Judge just blocked the Department of Labor’s ability to expand overtime protections that are frankly long overdue. It was going to create a ton of challenges to implement but it was necessary. Now all that work is gone and people making less than $36K a year aren’t guaranteed overtime.
