I asked my wife to make The Tall Mug (pictured) in her ceramics class. She refused citing prior "serious" requests: big mug (literally this!), big mug forest themed (also this!!) and tall vase (this yet again!!!). My superior design works for ALL OF THEM IN FACT!!

I recently spoke to a person whose communication style was "ChatGPT". Now you'd think this is ChatGPT corrupting the youth, but what it really is is a person speaking American Corporate English, which is the one dialect ChatGPT was trained on extensively. Either way it was uncanny.

Many years ago I saw a dog receiving a birthday cake on TV in a video clip on MTV and the idea was wild to me, and hilarious. Many years later I would offer cake to my own dog cake for her birthday, only to have it refused. This goes to show that some dreams should remain dreams.

Gisteren ben ik in Alkmaar geweest, waar ik een paar groepjes zag met een soort doosje waarop "smaakverkenners" stond. Ik vroeg een groepje zestigers wat het was en ze vertelden dat ze op verschillende locaties rond Alkmaar iets lekkers zoals een borreltje of kroketjes of en bammetje kregen.
