Reposted by AdicoonNocteel @nocteel.bsky.social · 08/04/2026Second con project: 3D animated badge. I teased this before and again, huge thanks (or curses) to @adi.vote for starting me down this rabbit hole and for the camera rig. There's more work to do on the render and payback but I love how the case came out and the 3D effect is soooo stunning in person. 2168
Adicoon @adi.vote · 12/02/2026It's actually S Plato On, the entire game is actually a very complex variant of the allegory of the cave that I don't have time to explain right now 020

Adicoon @adi.vote · 08/01/2026Looks like it's a "Single contact point block", I found a 5 hole version on eBay: www.ebay.com/itm/12434863... The manufacturer has a "single contact point block" on their site but with no pictures, or description. So no clue if it's the same as the eBay listing. Might be discontinued.ebay.com5 Pack Single Contact Point Block with Five Tie Points | eBay5 Pack Single Contact Point Block with 5 tie points 010
Adicoon @adi.vote · 04/01/2026I like to imagine there's some crew who goes to clean up these worlds after we're done with them. That'd make a good premise for a tv series, now that I think about it. Someone should make that. 171
Adicoon @adi.vote · 24/12/2025I think almost every step in the process would be different if you just used your phone instead of the 3D screen, just ask your local tech enthusiast and they'll be able to figure that out for you, I bet! :3 010

Adicoon @adi.vote · 09/12/2025Why? Because QR codes have a couple modes of storing data, if you use any lowercase characters (or #) it'll store it with at least 8 bits per character. Otherwise it'll store it in "alphanumeric" mode, where there's only ~45 valid characters, which is 5.5 bits per character! 040
Adicoon @adi.vote · 09/12/2025QR Code pro tip: You can get much smaller QR Codes if you make your URL uppercase! Here are some QR codes to "example.com" and "EXAMPLE.COM" 171
