Sad to hear that Lois Kahlert of Dennis and Lois fame has dropped off this mortal coil. Was a delight to meet her in Hebden Bridge with Creepshow / John Grant a few years back. This documentary on the legendary couple is well worth checking out. thequietus.com/culture/film...

That would be fantastic. It‘s doing surprisingly well in France and has had far more press coverage than the original edition ever had. Andrea Dunbar has a new league of fans across the water.

Le livre d’Adelle Stripe, paru en 2017 en Grande-Bretagne, retrace le parcours de cette jeune femme issue du mouvement ouvrier, propulsée très tôt dans le monde du théâtre. Il vient de paraître en français.

It’s their job to save lives of those in peril at sea, not to pass judgment on who they are or where they have come from. It’s very simple. The blackshirt knuckledraggers can’t seem to comprehend this.

Keith would be proud of your pedantry. PFT is a serious drama series as opposed to the examples you've stated, which are "comedy" in the loosest sense of the term. I take your point onboard though.

Mr Benjamin Myers has a new novel in the pipeline. As usual, I'm reading it for the first time as a proof -- which is how we've managed to stay together for 20 years without interfering in each other's work. Needless to say, the first chapter went down a treat before bed. I highly recommend it.
