It was fantastic! I finished it pretty quickly. I know people said it reminded them of a weird Parks and Rec, but for me it reminded me of those 'monster of the week X-Files episodes where Mulder and Scully's characters went a little kooky and there was humour in the horror.

The Twitter/X algorithm is SO sensitive that I've managed to curate 90% of my feed to BTS content. I don't post, but it's great for a info dump intake. Bluesky is more like old Twitter, as in I'm hardly here. Threads is THE place for Millennials. We're talking to strangers like we know each other.

Sometimes I sing a couple of lines of a song to myself "really well" and think, 'Maybe I CAN sing?' ...only for my voice to break and know Im best to continue singing to myself in the car. I don't think the latter occurs to enough people tbh.

Do you consume a lot of news and get lost in a lot of negative POVs? If you do, try disconnecting from it for a month, and see if youre less inclined to be the bummer of a friend. Remember, you get together to enjoy each other's company and support each other, not be bummed out by real world stuff.

Nothing like commercials to ruin the tense pacing of a film. My mum watches a lot of films on commercial TV and I just cant do it. I find I enjoy a lot more films now than back in the 90s when I saw them on TV in my teen years.

There are a few things that Tom Tate backs that I am for; un-cancelling the light rail stage 4 to the airport, the Gold Coast Arena in Southport (going ahead), his support to close the Oxenford Quarry behind where I live (which should have closed years ago)...but this thing, I ain't for it.
