Adelehin Ijasan @adelehinijasan.bsky.social · 23hMy guilty pleasure is Korean zombie movies. Train to Busan, Peninsula and now Colony…. Emotional beats are a little saccharine but boy, do I love seeing zombie hordes spewing out of a turn or forming a human mountain or some other crazy zombie shit. 000

I'm so glad that Nameless Saviors is now available to read at @tractorbeamearth.bsky.social What if you could save a country that would rather kill you than admit its problems? It has government corruption, drunk shenanigans, and final year stress 😌. www.tractorbeam.earth/story/namele...tractorbeam.earthNameless Saviors | Tractor BeamUncle, why does our house always smell bad? 1117
Adelehin Ijasan @adelehinijasan.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Great fiction helps you see the world as it truly is. For instance, the day I read Kafka’s Before the law, is the last day I ever submitted a query to a literary agent. 😂 000

Adelehin Ijasan @adelehinijasan.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Hi Chikodili, that’s the cover for my debut novel, A Dying Giant in the Palm of Your Hand, published by Masobe Books this year—it’s about a merman who was captured in the Niger Delta and the boy who risks everything to set him free.( I loved Dazzling by the way. Treasure’s voice was excellent!) 121
Adelehin Ijasan @adelehinijasan.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Honestly, super hero stuff is its own genre and should not be bundled with science fiction, please. 000
Adelehin Ijasan @adelehinijasan.bsky.social · 26/09/2026My writing process depends on what I’m writing. Science fiction starts with research which I thoroughly enjoy. Nigerian/African speculative fiction, though, comes fully formed, like an ancestral dream which I must urgently translate to words before it is taken away. #writingprocess 010
Adelehin Ijasan @adelehinijasan.bsky.social · 26/09/2026So I love Dark Matter. Die hard Blake Crouch fan here since Wayward Pines. But I hope we all know that ‘observation’ in the double slit experiment—which has been combined with Everett’s Many Worlds interpretation as the foundational premise of this brilliant book/series—does not imply consciousness! 020
Adelehin Ijasan @adelehinijasan.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Octavia Butler’s Dawn is still one of the best first contact novels I’ve ever read. The mystery builds and builds until you’re thrust, with Lilith, into this horrifying awareness. The Oankali. What a delicious story! I probably need to re-read the whole series again. Thank you, Octavia.#bookrecs 010
