Not necessarily. The closest he got to anything like that was saying how "Gunn" initially was dropped by Warner Bros. in the 90's because he had a deal with Turner and when they were swallowed by Warner, they rejected that and offered him the chance to make something else, which became "Iron Giant".

My payment to HBO Max is not worth the inevitable wide lay-offs, dilution of consumer choice, dilution of voices that get to be heard in mainstream media for reasons of personal and unshakable interests from select power-players or eventual compromise of the entire structure of the flawed and short-lived Warner Bros. I was 9-13 from 9/11 in 2001 to my birthday in 2004. The world of my childhood went grey and bleak for all those years. I became nostalgic for the past earlier than I should've. The 90's weren't perfect, but there was an attempt to put the previous decades of war and fear to bed. Fuck 9/11.
