I haven't really talked about it, but I absolutely fell in love with Tyler, The Creator's 'CHROMAKOPIA' near the end of last year. Like, head over heels with the album. I've listened to a few of his interviews and I'm completely in awe of this man and his relationship with music. It's so rare to

Over the last few years I've found that writing original music is a very interesting process for me. - If I go in trying to make something specific, it either sucks OR turns out well, but nothing like what I intended. - If I want to write something that sounds completely different from what I 1/2

Seeing as there's a new STARSET song coming out tonight, have you considered listening to a cover of this track from their last album? You really should. I recommend it. It'll probably increase your life expectancy. Maybe.

I'm waiting to get these vocals back and I'm so excited to finish it all up! As soon as they're sent back, I'm dropping everything else I'm working on to expedite it. I'll probably have the entire project done that same day because I'm just that raring to go...

Judging creators via numbers is so toxic 🤢 💀 Too small to use for clout 💀 Too big to approach 💀 Small enough to lowball rates 💀 Big enough to use as a stepping stone Being told all this hurts, but I won't let it get to me. 1/2

Hi, again! It's me and it's time to make my monthly (at best and until I'm in the full swing of things) post on here. Yeah... These videos statistics make sense. Start at 100%+, dip to below 40%, spike back to 100%+, and then end below 30%.

Though I have tons of guitars, I only have 2 basses (I'd like to have one more, MAYBE 2). One is an Epiphone EB-0 short-scale and I tend to keep it in drop D. The other is a Sterling Stingray Ray35 that I have in a drop C variation (GCGCF). Between the two, I can get almost any tuning I need. 1/2

So... Would it be wrong if I released some more music with low effort / no MV or playthrough? It's always a slog and double the time it takes to put stuff out.

It’s good to finally be mixing and working on music again after multiple months. Really hope that I can do this for work for a long while, I get so much fulfillment out of it.

A screenshot of the mixer tab in the digital audio workstation software FL Studio.
The mixer channels are color coded by category, with the instrumental and primary vocal/reverb track being red, chorus tracks being blue, adlib tracks being yellow, and bridge tracks being purple.

For the first time in 2 years, I'm seriously considering doing a last-minute change up and singing on my next remix. It seems too impersonal to just use the original vocals this time. That kinda scares me.

IDK what I did to deserve such horrible luck this year... Every time I try to work with someone on a project, I get dragged around for months being told "Oh! I'll get it done soon!", but they never do anything. Do you have any idea how disheartening that is? I feel like all my work is meaningless.
