7-8 hours of sleep & I still wake up feeling like total 🐶💩. I thought things were going to be okay after a little while, but now it’s clearly no good. I don’t want to go on hiatus, I literally can’t afford to.

My internet was really slow last night. If I hadn’t scrambled to do that audition video, I’d have been facing a rough time with a dropping bitrate.

(not me forgetting to post 36 hours ago) Art therapy session for burnout was unexpectedly productive. Lots of progress. Yes, it's a symphonic metal song w/ full orchestra I composed & produced from scratch. SynthV vocals are placeholders. 🎼 "Silence of the Nightmare" (original song in progress)

Tonight: Since release, I haven't done a single run of Grand Concert in Umamusume. Why? Concerts I'm participating in! That & conventions, work, & storage unit drudgery. See you in ~13 hours for my 1st time through Brighter Together: Our Grand Concert! youtu.be/uJ0o5V_uBYI twitch.tv/ArielleNorib...

Tonight was productive. Final master comes with sleep & fresh ears. Another BGM commission mostly complete! Here's the epic guitar solo from the end of the neo-80s Touhou-inspired song I made for my friend~

Here's what I made on stream last night! Touhou-inspired neo-80s BGM for my friend Genichiro, who covered the costs of my Otakon trip! Almost entirely LinnDrum & Yamaha DX7 here, plus that gated reverb, for that authentic 80s sound! Continuing (& finishing it) on stream tonight in a couple hours~

Internet died. Mom clearly doesn't understand that "unplug & plug it back in" doesn't make sense to do twice in a short time period, especially when our ISP's equipment takes a few minutes to get back online when we reboot it after a connection drop. I hate it here.

I don't have con crud, but I do have some aching far down my throat that makes it hurt when I cough. It doesn't hurt to swallow, so I fear that I need to go back on vocal rest for a bit. After a collab on 8/6, I'll be going rather quiet so I can record for concerts/do con recaps.

This PS2 classic is lost media. I recall the soundtrack being especially excellent. The composers were heavily inspired by Arby's for PS1. Maybe one of these days, the OST will surface? It's strange, because the protagonist is an active VTuber now. One of my favorites, too. 🙃

The only way I can take breaks from my workload is something that makes me feel productive. Setting time aside for re-orchestration on my original symphonic metal song, "Silence of the Nightmare", was exactly what I needed after all this time. 🎸🎺🎻 Now I can go back to comms.

This instrumental remake comm I'm working on is tough, but nothing I can't handle. But dang, that's a lot of guitar I've had to transcribe. 4 different tracks, 2 solo & 2 multi-tracked out to the sides. This'll be fun. Also a reminder that I'll be open for work next month. 😉
