Please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe there's any atomic or molecular hydrogen or any helium at all in the atmospheres of Mercury, Venus, Earth, or Mars. And that's because they're too small. But if I'm wrong (and I know I could be!) I want to know!

Ok I am massively jetlagged so it's time for an astronomy shitpost thread I think, as many do, that the IAU definition of a planet is not great, and that there are not eight planets in the Solar System. Specifically, I believe there are only *four* planets in the solar system.

this leaves us with the question of what we call Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. I think we have a lot of options here: - minor planets - dwarf planets - failed planets - wannabe planets - tryhard planets - moons, but for the sun - and my personal favorite: "metals"
