Finally getting some of my most recent earrings back from the kiln. In love with most of these, especially the green crystals in the lower left!

10 pairs of glazed ceramic earrings. Solid colors: aqua, pale green blue, pea green, green teal, matte black, chartreuse, cobalt blue, purply pink. Also a light mint green with colorful specks and a white with dark green crystals

Really enjoyed the earring workshop that I took this morning!

7 pairs of unfired clay earrings. Long bar earrings that say "hot af", long triangle earrings, carved leaf earrings, long bar earrings with rounded end that read "queer af", long bar earrings that come to a point, square earrings, earrings that kind of look like a closed set of parentheses

I unintentionally made what could be a set of nesting bowls. Each is 200 g larger than the last and would have included a 1200 g bowl if I had been successful. Reality was that I learned that throwing that much clay is painful on my fingers and I might be a small vessel potter going forward

Three unfired ceramic bowls increasing in size such that they could be a set of nesting bowls

When I replied it looked like this and it was poetry!

We need more full length mirrors in places that aren't bathrooms

Ada, a pale bald woman, is seen wearing a long black skirt, black boots, a white shortsleeve top, n95 mask, and over the ear headphones. She is taking a photo of herself in a full length mirror in a white, yellow, and black bathroom.

Married at 11, back in the office by 2. What a weird day.

Happy couple outside in a park. On left is Ada, a bald, pale white trans woman in a sleeveless black dress and black flats. On right is Adam, a head taller bald white cis man with a beard wearing black long sleeve dress shirt and pants, with a colorful floral boutonnière. These all got clear coats and a few got some extra color. Headed for the glaze firing and will be fridge magnets eventually

Tested a variety of decorative techniques to make some tiles/magnets, and the same phrase happened to be in the best ones. I especially like the one in the upper right which is a combination of sgraffito and inlay.

Four square ceramic tiles in a grid, each with the phrase "treat trans kids". Upper left and lower right have the phrase in black with the trans pride flag on the left and right edges. Upper right has a black background with the phrase in the colors of the trans pride flag. Lower left is similar but with just the light brown ceramic background
