I haven't been to a lesbian bar in a while, but I used to go to one in Houston where fights would break out regularly, and there was a non-trivial risk you'd get shot by a crazy 20-something ex. Reading the Greenfield Last Ditch story, my first thought was, "when did women get so soft?"
