"I learned what colour woodlouse blood was today. We were playing the ice cream shop game." Child 1 furnished me with this particular anecdote today.

On a course today, they used London Zoo as an example of risk, and said "if lions were likely to escape all the people in Camden would have lion insurance" and frankly, that doesn't seem beyond the realms of possibility.

Are these two questions connected? I don't want these two questions to be connected. I wouldn't be surprised if these two questions are connected.

M&S Granola sounds like the world's most middle-class wrestler. Doesn't do smack talk, just tuts passive-aggresively and writes a letter to The Guardian.

Just saw a post on LinkedIn about what we can learn from Danny Tommo about branding and social media, and honestly, the heat death of the universe can't come fast enough.

What exactly does "go rogue" mean? These things aren't sentient. Presumably they've been given an instruction that led them - accidentally or otherwise - to do this. This surely has to be put down to human* failure *Or whatever kind of lizard person Sam Altman is.

Way to tell the difference: When it's a bumbling journalist wearing glasses it's Artifical Intelligence, when it's wearing it's underpants on the outside and fighting for truth, justice, and the American way it's Super Intelligence.

Wakefield used to have a pie shop which was the takeaway venue of choice for us as students. Shepherd pie and chips at 4am after a night of alcohol. Nothing like it.

Spent the afternoon obsessing on chains of films within films (eg. WALL-E watching Hello Dolly) The longest I've got is a chain of 4 of Last Action Hero > Last Boy Scout > Lethal Weapon > Looney Tunes Christmas. I feel there must be a longer and less alliterative chain.

Do it. School is about learning how to learn as much as learning itself. If all kids understand is how to put a prompt in AI it'll affect development, reasoning, creative thinking et al.

I've just read As I lay Dying. Stream of consciousness writing really isn't my thing, but there were moments in brilliance in what I mostly felt was a horribly insufferable book. Also the audacity of having an entire chapter consist of "My mother is a fish" is something else.
