I’ve lived 83 years believing the Supreme Court was an anchor. Lately it appears more like a political instrument with heavy ethics problems. This is undeniable. If that’s what passes for “justice,” maybe I wasn’t naïve. Maybe the institution drifted in the tides.

I need pockets in my pajamas. Because at 3 am, I’m not trying to spelunk up my sleeve for a Kleenex like a Victorian ghost. If my phone isn’t in a pocket while I make coffee, I’m forced into a full sprint back to the nightstand when an early call comes in. Pajama pockets: not a luxury… a lifestyle.

The biggest long‑term risk isn’t one dramatic event; it’s the slow normalization of things that used to be unthinkable: shrugging at corruption, tolerating targeted repression, giving up on pluralism, repeated war crimes. This erosion can, over time, make a country less free and harder to repair.

Exactly. The escalation loop here is self‑created. Before, U.S. intelligence assessments didn’t point to an imminent Iranian attack, Iran’s missile program wasn’t projected to reach long‑range capability until the 2030s. Now he’s citing the instability caused by the bombing as justification.
