The NHS Guidance on trans people in hospital will protect zero women but will badly harm trans people. What a hateful disgrace and will be remembered by future generations as a stain on us all.

Hopefully, though, this saga shall end soon, and I can get back to putting out spooky things on a regular basis that specifically *don't* involve the state of my own health. Anyway here's my spoiler-filled review of Resident Evil (2026) boxd.it/gv9gZp

Hello! This week was a big mixed bag! I got an answer (and a good one!) regarding my ongoing medical scare, so much so that it is no longer ongoing, but it was immediately followed-up by another, new medical scare, that is seemingly easy to fix. I am very tired, gang.

Howdy! Medical issues semi-resolved & semi-ongoing but hey-hey progress is progress. Working on more neat things and also have you played Zero Company yet? Damn it's good.

Cover Art by: Me! This is the first piece of cover art I drew in Procreate (well over a year ago now) and I'm pretty happy with it! I love my fuzzy grass.

Echoes in a Jar: SULPHUR Season 2 of my horror audio anthology continues next month with SULPHUR, and it's best you return to your homes and barricade your doors immediately. Don't let anyone inside, no matter who they claim to be. Good Luck, and God Bless. Coming September '26.

I have the Quips feature on Patreon now so I'll be directing a majority of the show updates over on there (everyone can see them, or so they say!) as opening most social media makes me sad now and I wanna limit using it a bunch. www.patreon.com/echoesinajar Will keep goofs on here though innit.

hello! I've been away from here for a while as things have been busy, and I also had a pretty spooky medical issue recently, but things are very much In The Works and Echoes is shaping up nicely; I am on medical leave right now so updates may be sparse for a lil'. Hope you've been keeping well!

Was Rook'ing on Outpost, and final exfil started. Ran for it, only to get into a scuffle with another Rook on the way. Realising I would lose, I ran for the exfil, and with about 10 seconds left, the other Rook got snagged by a drone heading the same way. I shot it. We made up and exfilled together.

The Manifesto is still my favourite at the moment, being one of their very best, but Delirium is an absolute belter, The Moon Cave is stunning, Damascus slaps, The Sad God is a fantastic closer, Orange County is a devastating masterpiece... and that's just *some* of the album. holy shit they did it

000

Acey @aceyinajar.northsky.social · 28/02/2026

that was peak genuinely an incredible album, even on my first listen. i'll need to give it many more spins, and joyously will, but i already adore the concept, the style is so crisp, the voices of those we've lost are powerful. it's upbeat, sad, exciting, and most of all we've never been more back
