I've watched the first three seasons of Inside No. 9 and only two episodes so far have ended on a positive note. Which is totally fine, I love how much of a feel-bad show it is, but there's something genuinely heartwarming about things working out occasionally. In a show this dark, it feels earned.

I just relistened to Cracker Island and while it's not my favourite Gorillaz album, probably second lowest above The Fall, it does have this one perfect moment in Damon and Stevie Nicks' harmonies on Oil. The delivery of "INTERLOCKING CLUSTER BOMBS" sends me into another dimension.

I’ve been watching my brother play Portal 2 on holiday and got reminded that it has one of the most unexpectedly beautiful endings with one of the most heartwarming pieces of music ever composed. It doesn’t even affect the story. They didn’t have to do this. But I’m so glad they did.

I don't think I've ever seen a show suffer from its ensemble's scheduling conflicts as unsubtly as the last season of Arrested Development does. And that's saying something, considering the fourth season literally had focus episodes for each characters that still somehow tied into eachother better.
