Penn State if they kept their mascot as regular lions instead of a Nittany Lion

Yeah I used to love the 3DS Homebrew scene, but now even the official homebrew channel store is getting flooded with AI Slop 🫩

Fair point, I guess for me I slip into the mindset of “I tried my best and THIS is all I can do, why I’m a such a failure” in a bad loss; and hearing praise lifts my spirits a bit. So I try my best to lift others up whenever possible instead of tearing them down!

Yeah I probably should have worded my comment a little better, I do think we should give people their flowers whenever possible!

AC Drift @ac-drift.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I think we should also gas up the losing team whenever possible so it doesn’t seem like we’re dog piling on their loss

Yeah I was gonna say something similar, I’ve been watching a lot of Turn Down For Walt’s videos and have gotten into the history of the smash scene, and his videos are a prime example on how to hook casuals in for comp, by answering the viewer question “Who are these people and why should I gaf?”

Hi everyone! Today we have two big announcements! First if you haven’t found out already, we are lowering the price to compete for MCoC from $20 to $15 and eliminating the entry fee all together! We are also extending the deadline to sign up from Nov 13th to just before the event starts on Dec 13!

Every intro to sociology class I teach gets this image.

A small digger trying its hardest to dig out the Ever Given ship that has run aground. It says, “Structural Problem” on the giant Ever Given and, “Making different personal choices” on the tiny digger.

this response is so funny "we have to use ai because our developers are spread so thin it'd be impossible to do it all by hand" okay hear me out maybe instead just don't make 9 pc ports at once??? you could just make one so you're not spread so thin

“One of the reasons I think we are accepting of AI contributions is that our developers are spread thin,” said Jeod in the group’s Discord server. “When Ship of Harkinian began, it was apparently a dream; now, with so many ports and a decade later, devs have come and gone; some don’t have interest in specific games, others have real life to deal with. We always welcome talent, and if you’re willing to learn how things work here, then the door is open.”

The thing about trying not to pick a side is that the nazis *instantly recognize* which side you picked. They immediately identify you as an ally. They know exactly what side you're on. It doesn't fool the victims, it doesn't fool the Nazis, the only people it could possibly fool is centrists.

As a former fan, this just makes me sad that the game I once loved turned into literal slop, but I’m glad I walked away when I did. I’m content to never giving Epic Games a single dollar ever again, I’d rather give my money to someone who actually cares about the art and hard work of Humans.

You need somebody to talk to? I feel similar in a lot of ways and I know times are tough, but please don’t go through with it!!!! The only reason I haven’t myself is because I know there are people in my life who genuinely care about me, if you don’t think anyone would care, I would!!!
