he's what they thought they were getting in Bain

Oldest (who lives in NYC now) is some kind of credit card perks savant & said "how would you like to go for free" & sent me two tix in Sec 128. Going w/my middle son & since his GF lives in St. Pete she'll drop us off so not even paying for parking. All those years of raising them finally pays off!

Did not have an 11-minute Bucs TD drive on my bingo card

Pepiot’s actually pretty decent, which would have killed the joke

If you want to count single-game wild cards as "series" 2013-CLE 2019-OAK These were "rounds" I guess

Also congrats to the Yankees for becoming the first franchise to lose *two* playoff series to the Rays The White Sox could be the second in the ALCS Previous Rays playoff series wins 2008-CWS, BOS 2020-TOR, NYY, HOU In other words, it's either WS or bust when the Rays make the playoffs

starting to think Aaron Boone being destined to lose year after year in the playoffs as Yankee manager is karmic retribution for his ALCS-winning homer in 2003

Bryan Baker of @RaysBaseball is the only MLB pitcher to save every game of a 3+ game sweep in the postseason while not allowing a single hit (since saves became official in 1969). 🐦 x.com/OptaSTATS/status/210804246794…

correct me if I'm wrong but the Rays just swept the Yankees without bunting even once also outhomered them 3-2

All the pundits talking about the Yankees missing Aaron Judge but the Rays had to play the entire season without Gavin Lux

Rays are making one of champagne in the visitor’s clubhouse

I love a good decades-long hate

Rays should come back to Yankee Stadium to celebrate if they win the ALCS

Ironically the Rays were the sloppy defensive team tonight, with Mesa playing a ball into a double and Aranda failing to scoop two throws in the dirt

000

Nice part of sweeping is that they get to throw Rasmussen in Game 1 of the ALCS

Aranda not exactly picking it at 1B tonight

Bottom of the order coming up for the Yankees in the 9th and Boone’s decision to drop Rice out of the leadoff slot may very well come back to bite him

000

really, they're cramming in an ad while Lombard stepped out?

000

that ball hit by Bellinger would have been a home run in 0/30 parks

okay Booser don't make me one
