My husband uses the chicken to meal prep for his lunches. A bag of chicken, a couple cups of rice, an in season veggie. Five meals less than two bucks each. This will help so many people. Especially with the Trump administration trying to shame poor single moms who only have time to microwave.

It says in the article that extending eviction notices, has little to no effect on the overall outcome. A family unable to pay rent in March, is still going to be unable to pay rent in April. The Mayor believes rental assistance is the answer.
