Please don’t use “arrested” in connection with ice. Ice has no jurisdiction or standing with the governing systems or law enforcement where they are removing people. Ice are paid bounty hunters abducting people protected under US law. Ice are criminals.

I’ve done all I can to prepare for a double whammy: abdominal surgery and midterms. Dreading both. I’ve been worried about nighttime wildlife I care for btwn 1-3. Husband’s not a night person but asked what time he should set his alarm to get up for them 😭 I’m moving time earlier. Pics later.

Probably last hot day of the year. I’m glad. I need a break. Got the brutal surgery in a month, and a lot to do before then. But at least I’ve ensured we’re prepared for whatever comes and any fallout. I hope everyone is.
