I can’t tell you how many people who identify as conservatives told me I was being dramatic and overreacting to Trump winning the election in 2016. FYI: I no longer associate with anyone who supports Trump. I wasn’t overreacting and here we are in the midst of an authoritarian takeover by Trump.
