Pitching our indie shit to get back into the ever-shrinking club won't save us, neither will re-creating the industry as "indie" with all the same corporate royalty and celebrities who were never in danger like us. We don't need PILOTS, we PASSION PROJECTS made with your WHOLE FUCKIN CHEST.

Google earth has updated its satellite images of Gaza. The destruction is almost incomprehensible.

been busy with a lot of boring, stressful real-life grown-up crap lately, and it's sapped a lot of time and mental energy for personal creative work. but seems like the worst of it is over (knock on wood) and in the last couple of days I've been able to dive back into some of the stuff I love

12 more Sublo in-between drawings to do tonight and then 30 secs of lipsync, then I get to study some Japanese and watch some cartoons

Can't stop thinking about how younger generations seem to create new history for eras they weren't adults for and lack the proper context for. Blogs were quite popular, podcasts were a niche interest, and wiki has always been a useful tool that you still can't directly cite as a source.

it was ok! but just 'ok' Looney Tunes for me is not ok

000

I didn't hate the movie, it certainly deserved to be released. but it is kind of an SNL sketch stretched to feature length

0260

above all the awful animation is unforgivable to me. you simply cannot do Looney Tunes (especially with a pantomime character in the lead role) by outsourcing to a bunch of low-budget VFX houses. like going to see a symphony and it's performed on cheap MIDI keyboards

I didn't really like CvA much sorry, I am probably just too much of a Looney Tunes nerd for anything to really please me

Since I think it's been online on YouTube long enough and I don't think I'm gonna get more than the $5-6 from it from the last few years of views, and the fact there's longer uploads here on Bluesky now, here's the entirety of my short film 'Snif & Snüf'. Watch and enjoy!

With Bluesky's new upload limit I can finally share some music videos I've been holding onto for mostly copywrite reasons. Here's one of the beloved series Sublo and Tangy Mustard by @aaronlong.bsky.social Go check out their series as it dang hits close to home as a fellow colonized canadian.

another cool trick is basing your sense of self-worth around your productivity. a fun side-effect is the way you'll feel about yourself when you fail to hit your unrealistic goals!

the way to get a lot of work done is to always be trying to get an impossible amount done and constantly fail
