Reposted by AampAndré Coelho @hitmanmcc.com · 30/09/2026A long time ago, I recapped and RGB modded this Twin Famicom. For completeness sake, I'm adding some pics of the process in a new thread, so that I can import it to my blog. This is the console post-recap. Look at that belt! Completely hardened and broken. 2605

Reposted by AampJdoesstuff @jdoesstuff.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Been working away all day getting this new RGB mod running on my Famicom. It used to have a mod installed where the RGB wores were stuck inside the system, so unplugging and moving it was a hassle. But now it only has the plug-in holes. So moving and plugging/unplugging is a breeze! :D 2529

Just for funsies, I compiled it on Linux Mint from the almost 30-year-old source code, and it still freaking works. 110011

Aamp @aamptrack.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Crt was going to the dump but came to me with an issue with the picture going out after warming up. Got much worse over a couple years. Suspected bad capacitor or poor solder joint. Found both which looked rough. Replaced capacitor with modern alternative and resoldered. Appears to have fixed it!!🤓 121
