Sorry I don’t know how to start a new thread but have you seen Kirklees reform Councillor Tracey Clayton’s disgusting language that Leader of the Kirklees council Sarah Wood also Reform hasn’t condemned. There’s a video of this meeting. I’m writing an email to complain. What else could I do?

Kirklees council leader Sarah Wood of “ reform councillors are angry because we don’t understand our job” fame has reminded a councillor of his etiquette in the chamber by holding up his notebook, whilst legitimising Reform Councillor Tracy Clayton’s Nazi style dehumanising of migrants. Shameful.

Rowan isn’t the first Kirklees Reform councillor to come under the spotlight. Tracy Clayton represents Colne Valley West. She remains in Reform despite having repeatedly shared posts by Tommy Robinson, reposted and agreed with anti-Muslim comments on social media, and called climate change “a hoax”.

Tracy Clayton is Reform's councillor for Colne Valley West, Kirklees. She’s a huge supporter of Tommy Robinson, the AfD, and promotes Britain First. She once agreed with Britain First that Sadiq Khan should be deported. Nigel Farage, you’re comfortable with councillors like this in your party?

I don’t understand why political analysis doesn’t use and cite verifiable data before tentatively suggesting a possible trend/ cause, as reputable science journals do. Loads of articles are just vibe/bias based. Maybe political journos at Times should try doing horoscopes instead?

🧵 Matt Goodwin demanded to be fact-checked live on air when he claimed the UK spent "£100 million PER YEAR on family planning and condoms in Pakistan". He then 'corrected' himself to £74.3 million, saying it was based on a "major news story from October 2025" He was, of course, still wrong... 1/30
