Thanks Teos! Our D&D AL was rocking all convention too. 568 seats filled over 84 sessions. This translates into roughly 320 unique players and every table we scheduled ran. About 140 of those players were completely new to D&D with approx 190 players new to playing D&D at conventions.

It obviously wasn't easy, as there was a LOT of hard work by everyone of all t-shirt colours in my team and I in the run up to and during the convention. But it was "easy" during it due to that hard work, which meant everyone in my team was able to enjoy it. Which is kinda the point really.

It's kind of incredible that a team of volunteers make this happen. We apply a level of focus to it so that it's a professional event and that way when it's happening we're able to enjoy it. I probably said it was "easy" or "a piece of piss" on a few occasions over the weekend.

I may have been schmoozing with dignitaries or in a meeting. We really do have a strong scene and a healthy demand for games at cons. Even after adding 10 more tables per slot, we are only matching demand.
