2024 has been a terrible year for losing people. Today, I learned of the passing of Richmond Clements. We haven't seen each other in person for many years, but this has both caught me off guard and reminded me of how awesome a guy he was through those shared memories. Rest in peace, friend.

Ours was a 16k one, upgraded to 48k, then we replaced the keyboard, then my dad built a 'box' for it to sit in with the tape machine. We haven't cleared the loft since he passed in May, but I'm fairly sure we'll find at least one up there. The Hobbit definitely played a part in my interest in RPGs.

Last night in my Save The Butler, Save The World D&D 5e campaign. After working out what to do with a Young Black Dragon after the Forcecage ends, our intrepid heroes find themselves in a church with more Slaad and a bunch of Yuan-Ti. What do you mean you're almost out of spell slots?

Last night on Save The Butler, Save The World. Heading to Scardale via Blackfeather Castle they encountered a Black Dragon and some Slaad. Reakos' Forcecage took the dragon out of action so they could deal with the pesky Slaad. Now what to do when it wears off... #DnD5e #RPGs

After probably 2.5 years of regular fortnightly play, we finished the D&D Adventurers League (S9) Avernus Rising series. It's been a lot of fun, and I'd highly recommend the series to all DMs. Thanks to my players: @thejohnharper.bsky.social @simonharper.bsky.social Joe, Josh & Paul too.

After an extended hiatus (11 months!) the "Save The Butler, Save The World" D&D campaign restarted last night. Only took us 40 mins to remember what we were doing! Archenbridge is on fire, and seems to have lots of vampiric types hanging around.

Almost finished D&D Adventurers League Avernus Rising storyline last night. Level 1 to 20 and we have maybe one session left after roughly 2.5 years. Yeenoghu was defeated, Rutger Hauer (not his actual name) restored to corporeal form, and the Paladin resisted the urge to eat the demon lord's heart.
